Job summary

Denali Universal Services is seeking a Baker/Breakfast Cook for a remote North Slope site. You’ll supervise kitchen staff, follow standard menus, and ensure safe, high-quality meals within budget. Housing and meals are provided; flights and rotation are paid by the employer.

Responsibilities include meal preparation, inventory support, and maintaining HACCP-compliant operations. Must be 18+, with ServSafe and Alaska Food Worker Card, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current ServSafe certification.
• Able to speak, read, understand and write English.
• Experience in quantity baking and food production (2+ years).
• Mature judgment and reliable work ethic.
• Pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the daily breakfast and assist with night meals as needed.
• Supervise, train and direct kitchen staff.
• Follow standard recipes to produce high quality meals.
• Monitor food temperatures during service.
• Assist with ordering and inventory.
• Ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and sanitized.
• Adhere to HACCP policies and food safety regulations.
