Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Remote Breakfast Cook/Baker for a remote camp kitchen. You will prepare, bake, and present a variety of bakery and breakfast items, supervise staff, and produce production sheets to support daily operations.

Requires high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in high-volume cooking, Alaska Food Worker Card or ServSafe, and ability to work 12-hour shifts in a dormitory setting. Accommodation and safety trainings provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of directly related restaurant cooking and/or baking experience.
• Must have an Alaska Food Workers Card and/or ServSafe Certification or obtain upon hire.
• Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements (drug test, physical, fit for duty, etc.).
• Ability to instruct and train others and handle multiple tasks.
• Must work as part of a team and make decisions with limited supervision.
• Must be on your feet for 12 hours per shift and live in dormitory-style settings.
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Performs main line food production duties for the assigned shift.
• Cooks breakfast, lunch, or dinner items and bakery products.
• Prepares and produces a wide variety of bakery products in a remote camp setting.
• Completes pastry preparations including mixing, baking and frying as needed.
• Assists supervisors with menu and recipe development.
• Monitors and replenishes kitchen production items with proper rotation.
• Reviews daily needs and completes production sheets and supply checks.
• Prepares, presents, and restocks items such as vegetables, salads, meats, cheeses, and bakery goods.
