Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a remote Contact Center Service Advocate I to support patient scheduling and deliver an unmatched patient experience.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, while entering data accurately in the scheduling system. This full-time role requires a High School diploma and 1 year of customer service experience.

The position offers 40 hours per week with benefits and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience; call center experience preferred.
• Flexible and positive attitude.
• Friendly and nurturing attitude toward our patient population of older adults.
• Experience with EMR documentation preferred.
• Proficient PC skills, including basic Microsoft Excel.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Accurately enter patient information and appointment details into the scheduling system.
• Communicate appointment details and any necessary instructions to patients clearly.
• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
• Work closely with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth scheduling operations.
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide reminders.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and transactions with patients.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.
