Job summary

InteLogix is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support HR programs across multiple states with a primary focus on California. The role covers employee relations, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance.

You will administer HR plans, conduct orientations, maintain HRIS records, and ensure alignment with federal, state, and local laws. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, generalist role preferred.
• 5+ years supporting California employees, CA wage/hour, CFRA/PDL, PAGA.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and policies; maintain employee handbook.
• Develop department goals, objectives and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports from the database.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
