Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a freelance CAD modeling specialist to train and evaluate AI agents within a real CAD environment. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge agent attempts while collaborating with CFD engineers.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on CAD experience with major tools, an active CAD licence, and proficiency in Python and GitHub, with English at B2 level or higher. This is a remote, project-based freelance opportunity.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related field; Master's or PhD a plus.
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar). Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong plus.
• Active professional CAD licence required.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents in a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry and build reference solutions.
• Judge the agent's attempts and provide feedback.
