Job summary

Mindrift seeks an experienced CAD engineer to train and evaluate AI agents operating within a real CAD environment. You will design complex geometry, build reference solutions, and assess agent attempts on long engineering tasks alongside CFD engineers.

Requires 5+ years CAD modelling in CATIA/SolidWorks/NX/Creo, active CAD license, and strong Python/GitHub skills. English at B2 level or above; remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; a Master's/PhD is a plus.
• 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling.
• Active CAD licence required.
• Familiar with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
• Design part geometry and build reference solutions.
• Judge the agent's attempts and provide feedback for improvement.
• Collaborate with CFD engineers simulating the geometry you build.
