Mindrift is seeking a Mechanical or Aerospace CAD engineer to help train and evaluate AI agents operating inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks. You will design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts, working alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 5+ years in CAD modelling, an active CAD license, and proficiency in Python and GitHub, with English at B2

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master/PhD a plus).
• 5+ years CAD modelling experience (CATIA/ SolidWorks/ NX/ Creo or similar).
• Active professional CAD license is required.
• Python and GitHub proficiency; English at B2 level or above.

Responsabilités

• Train and evaluate AI agents within a real CAD environment on long tasks.
• Design part geometry and build reference solutions.
• Judge agent attempts and provide feedback to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with CFD engineers to simulate constructed geometry.
