Job summary

Smart Communications is seeking a Business Development Representative to join a fully remote, USA-based team. You will be the bridge between marketing programs and the sales organization, driving engagement, creating opportunities, and coordinating with Account Executives to move prospects through the pipeline.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, curiosity about industry trends, and collaboration with multiple teams to support demand generation and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to generate SALs and opportunities for the sales org.
• Consistently engage priority accounts through thoughtful outreach and messaging.
• Strong communication across phone, email, and social channels.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer teams to align campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Engage Target Accounts: Identify and engage prospective buyers across priority accounts via outreach channels.
• Initiate Meaningful Conversations: Create opportunities by aligning challenges with Smart Communications’ solutions.
• Facilitate Sales Conversations: Coordinate introductory conversations between prospects and Account Executives.
• Partner Across the Revenue Organization: Work with AEs, Marketing, Customer Success and AM teams for coordinated engagement.
• Support Strategic Campaign Execution: Activate campaigns and translate interest into sales conversations.
