Job summary

Gilchrist & Soames, a division of Guest Worldwide, is seeking a seasoned sales professional to acquire new accounts and expand existing ones across the U.S. This role emphasizes strategic prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals with hospitality clients while leveraging a robust CRM and cross-functional teamwork.

The position is flexible in location, with frequent travel to key customer meetings and trade shows within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales or marketing.
• Minimum five+ years of sales experience in new business development.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation and active listening.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and follow up diligently.
• Proficient with CRM systems and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Identify and target new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan to grow sales within existing and new segments.
• Work with Product Development and Marketing to develop brands and innovations for target customers.
• Prepare and present product presentations and demonstrations to meet customer requirements.
• Negotiate pricing and terms and onboard new customers to transition from lead generation to long term accounts.
• Collaborate with sales leadership on complex selling situations and customize messaging/solutions.
• Maintain CRM records of activities, plans, pipelines and opportunities.
