Job summary

Jones Stephens Corp. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales in plumbing and mechanical products.

The role focuses on building strong relationships with wholesalers, contractors, and builders, while developing strategic sales plans and new opportunities within the territory. The candidate will travel 50–75% within the assigned market, including Phoenix, Tucson, Tempe, Gilbert, and surrounding Nevada/Los Angeles areas, covering remote territory to grow market share and achieve

Qualifications

3+ years of field sales or business development experience in construction.
Experience selling building products, plumbing systems, HVAC components, or related technical goods.
Understanding of contractor, builder, or trade customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present, negotiate, close deals.
Willingness to travel 50–75% with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and market share within the assigned region.
Cultivate strong relationships with distributors, contractors, builders, and end-users; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Stay informed on market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs; analyze market data for pricing and product development.
Work with distribution partners to improve product visibility, availability, and promotions; provide sales training and marketing support.
Meet or exceed sales targets, maintain a strong pipeline, and provide forecasts using CRM tools.
