Job summary

MVC Resources seeks a Business Development & Event Operations Executive to drive new business and coordinate event operations for a growing regional agency. This fully remote, full-time role offers a $40k–$60k annual salary and the flexibility of a remote work setup.

You will identify opportunities through prospecting, networking, and proposals, plan client dinners, conferences, and networking sessions, and manage logistics from venue selection to post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business development, sales, or event management.
• No degree required—a track record of landing clients and running smooth events.
• Comfortable with CRM systems and on sales calls.
• Energized by both business development and event execution; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and proposals.
• Plan and execute agency events including client dinners, conferences, and networking sessions.
• Manage event logistics from venue selection through post-event follow-up and reporting.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and track sales activity for revenue visibility.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine strategy and capture lessons learned.
