Hitachi Rail STS USA, INC. is seeking a Business Affairs Counsel to handle a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The role may be performed 100% remotely, with preference for candidates based in Pittsburgh, PA or Hagerstown, MD.

The attorney will provide contractual and risk advice on US projects and develop key contract documents. In addition to a Law Degree, 8+ years of US law practice experience are required and the candidate will liaise with corporate counsel across US,

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited institution; membership in a Law Society.
• Minimum of 8 years of US law practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide contractual and risk advice in the United States for business development and project procurement.
• Develop and negotiate contractual documentation for major infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with corporate legal counsel to ensure compliance with corporate practices; oversee dispute litigation and risk management.
