Job summary

HCLTech in the United States seeks a Senior Legal Counsel specializing in high tech IT consulting and outsourcing transactions. The role supports sales and revenue-generating agreements, including Master Outsourcing Agreements, PSAs, bids, RFPs and SaaS.

The attorney will draft and negotiate IT services and outsourcing agreements, with government contracting experience a plus, and will advise internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, HR and Delivery.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in a US or foreign jurisdiction.
• 8–18 years of experience in structuring, negotiating, and drafting Outsourcing, IT and services contracts.
• Ability to work independently and support sales teams in high tech outsourcing.
• Willingness to travel within the continental US.

Responsibilities

• Being the legal point of contact on assigned projects supporting sales and revenue generation agreements, including procurement agreements as required.
• Communicating effectively about contractual and business matters, providing risk/benefit analysis to internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, HR, Delivery).
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating IT Services and Outsourcing Agreements (MSAs, PSAs, Bids/RFPs, SaaS, SOWs) per guidelines.
• Experience with Governmental Contracting (Locals, State, Federal) a plus.
• Performing other contract review and general corporate functions as required.
