Job summary

Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. is seeking a Building Science Project Engineer to perform Property & Facility Condition Assessments and related due diligence reports, with remote work and occasional travel.

You will evaluate building systems, collect data, author technical reports, and coordinate schedules to keep projects on track while communicating with the Project Manager and clients. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Architecture or a related Engineering field

Qualifications

• Bachelor or graduate degree in Architecture or related Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating
• 2+ years of experience performing property inspections

Responsibilities

• Assess buildings to evaluate condition and advise on immediate repairs; assess future replacements
• Conduct site reconnaissance, data compilation and project research
• Prepare technical reports and supporting documents
• Plan and track timelines; communicate progress to PM and client
• Provide recommendations impacting the transaction process
• Coordinate and respond to changes in project scope
