Job summary

Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. is seeking a Building Science Project Engineer experienced in Property & Facility Condition Assessments. This full-time role is remote with travel to client sites nationwide.

You will conduct assessments, prepare technical reports, and support due diligence for CRE projects, coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver timely, high-quality findings. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Architecture or a related engineering

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating.
• 2+ years of experience performing property inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems, provide recommendations for immediate repairs, and use observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacements
• Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research (historical, regulatory, etc.)
• Technical report authoring and preparation of quality supporting documents (maps, appendices, etc.)
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule and effectively communicate project progress and any issues as they arise to the Project Manager and client
• Provide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and client, while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process
• Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope
