Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Science Project Engineer to perform property and facility condition assessments, draft reports, and coordinate timelines.

This role requires strong writing, collaboration, and field inspection skills in a hybrid on-site/work-from-home setup. Applicants should have 5+ years in architecture/engineering, a related engineering degree, and the ability to travel to project sites with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating.
• 3+ years of experience performing property inspections.
• 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems and provide repair recommendations.
• Perform site reconnaissance, data compilation, organization, and project research.
• Author technical reports and prepare quality documents (maps, appendices).
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines; communicate progress to PM and client.
• Provide solid recommendations and coordinate scope changes with the PM and client.
