Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer – Construction (Building Automation) for a remote role in the United States.

The contract-to-hire position focuses on developing project estimates, evaluating requirements, and coordinating subcontractors for BAS projects. You will work with sales, engineering, and operations to deliver accurate, competitive proposals and support bid activities through handoff to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in construction estimating, project engineering, or pre-construction.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Knowledge of project costing, labor estimation, and material takeoffs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete turnkey cost estimates for BAS projects.
• Prioritize estimates to meet deadlines.
• Review plans and specs to create competitive proposals.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor quotations.
• Lead pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs.
• Support contract reviews and risk assessments.
• Ensure smooth project handoff to operations.
