Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Building Automation Engineer for a fully remote role serving Wisconsin project sites. The position focuses on programming, integration, commissioning and documentation of BAS/HVAC control systems.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in building automation, strong ability to read drawings and knowledge of BACnet, Niagara/Tridium, Distech or Honeywell. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

5+ years of building automation/HVAC controls experience.
Ability to read mechanical, electrical and control drawings.
Knowledge of BAS platforms such as BACnet, Niagara/Tridium, Distech or Honeywell.

Responsibilities

Develop, program and implement building automation and HVAC control systems.
Support system integration, testing and commissioning activities.
Interpret and review mechanical, electrical and control drawings and submittals.
Develop control drawings and project documentation; assist with troubleshooting.
Coordinate with PMs, engineers, technicians and stakeholders.
Support project execution from design through turnover and stay current with BAS technologies.
