Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Building Automation Engineer to support global data center projects. You will review BAS designs, controls schematics, and sequences of operations, coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and facility teams to ensure reliable environmental control systems.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in BAS engineering for mission-critical environments, hands-on experience with BAS platforms, and strong documentation skills using AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Visio.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on BAS/controls design and review in data center environments.
• Experience with major BAS/DDC platforms and controls protocols.
• Ability to review controls design packages and sequences of operations.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review BAS submittals, engineering deliverables, and controls schematics.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and facility engineers for design reviews.
• Support data center infrastructure by ensuring BAS standards are met.
• Review deliverables from vendors and integrators for accuracy and conformance.
• Track design comments to closure through package revisions and field issues.
