Job summary

Pathward is seeking a Manager, BSA/AML Operations – Cases to lead the SAM case investigations function within the BSA/AML & Sanctions Operations team. This remote-friendly role reports to the VP and guides escalation, documentation, and disposition of SAM-related cases.

You will oversee case volumes, SLAs, and regulatory responsiveness, while supporting BSA/AML policy development and risk assessments across products and geographies. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CAMS certifications preferred.
• Solid experience in BSA/AML operations and SAM programs.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising analysts.
• Working knowledge of Actimize, FCRM, and enterprise transaction monitoring systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of SAR investigators, EDd, and escalation activities.
• Oversee SAM case investigations from transaction monitoring systems and referrals.
• Ensure SLA adherence, case aging, and investigation quality.
• Lead and develop analysts with coaching and performance feedback.
• Review investigations and SAR referrals for completeness and defensibility.
• Maintain governance with FCC program, Alerts, SAR Filing, Compliance, and Tech teams.
