Job summary

Pathward is seeking a Vice President, BSA/AML Operations – Cases to lead SAM case investigations, escalation, and documentation in support of the Bank Secrecy Act and AML regulations. You will partner with Compliance, Technology, Data Analytics, and Assurance to strengthen the program and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CAMS certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in BSA/AML operations and SAM programs within a regulated financial institution.
• Demonstrated leadership managing managers and large investigative teams.
• Strong working knowledge of Actimize, FCRM, and enterprise transaction monitoring systems.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with regulators, auditors, and senior leadership.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of SAM case investigations, enhanced due diligence, and escalation activities.
• Oversee investigations from Actimize and FCRM, and manual referrals.
• Manage operations across case volumes, aging, investigation quality, and regulatory responsiveness.
• Support development and maintenance of BSA/AML policies, procedures, and controls.
• Lead risk assessments to identify and evaluate BSA/AML risks across products, services, and customers.
