HigherRing is hiring a remote Bookkeeping Specialist with 10+ years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping for multiple clients. You will use CPG and accrual methods to deliver accurate financial reports and guidance.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, and you will work with the Bookkeeping Manager to ensure timely month-end close and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Inventory experience required with CPG.
• Accrual accounting experience is required.
• Experience with multiple clients and diverse industries.
• Bilingual English and Spanish fluency.
• Strong customer service, attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports client bookkeeping functions (A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, payroll, journal entries, reporting).
• Maintain full-charge bookkeeping for multiple clients with solid fundamentals.
• Create and interpret financial reports (Balance Sheets, P&L, cash flows).
• Understand cash vs accrual accounting and apply correct methods.
• Research and apply best practices for client systems; document processes.
• Collaborate with Bookkeeping Manager and team; meet deadlines for month-end.
• Assist in tax preparation information as requested; compile client data.
