Job summary

Repligen seeks a Technical Support Engineer II to join our Service team, delivering technical support to customers, field service, commercial teams, and internal stakeholders. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and process issues, document findings, and collaborate across functions.

Location options include Waltham, MA, Bridgewater, NJ, or remote for eligible US candidates. Ideal candidates have a biology/engineering background, 3+ years of related experience, strong English

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and or equivalent related experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting bioprocessing equipment or related life sciences activities.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues with a structured approach.
• Familiarity with Repligen's Systems and Process Analytics product portfolios is highly beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM/service management systems.
• Experience creating and updating technical documentation (Protocols, SOPs, manuals).
• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, or supporting software for bioprocessing equipment.
• Proficiency in interpreting software alarms, diagnostics, and logs.
• Familiarity with networking, Windows OS, and remote support tools is beneficial.
• Familiarity with GMP, 21 CFR Part 11 is highly beneficial.
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and global team collaboration.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer site visits and training.
• Must be fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support: provide timely technical support via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Product Knowledge: maintain knowledge of Repligen’s product portfolio and related technologies.
• Customer Engagement: communicate with customers and stakeholders to understand issues and provide updates.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: analyze issues and guide resolution.
• Case Management: document inquiries and resolutions in Salesforce.
• Technical Documentation: assist in creating and updating docs and knowledge articles.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with multiple internal teams to resolve issues.
• Service Coordination: assist with follow-up activities, RMAs, field service dispatch, escalations.
• Training and Development: participate in product training and knowledge sharing.
• Continuous Improvement: identify recurring issues and process improvements.
