Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Lead BIM Specialist (remote or regional office) to guide BIM execution and workflows across projects. You will work with project managers to set standards, train staff, and drive quality in design and documentation using Revit and related Autodesk tools.

The ideal candidate brings 5–6 years of BIM modeling experience, strong Revit skills, knowledge of NEC, and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in BIM, engineering or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5-6 years BIM modeling experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; Evolve a plus.
• Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code, safety codes, and ability to read contracts, plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Basic project management training, experience, and understanding of the project life cycle.
• Strong desire to learn electrical design and construction; dependable team player.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates BIM, planning strategies, daily work plans and maintains accountability on assigned projects from inception through completion with the project team.
• Functions as the production subject matter expert by maintaining a high user level of knowledge of Revit to support questions regarding software use and electrical specific tasks.
• Completes 2D and 3D drafting tasks to support electrical construction initiatives, utilizing Revit.
• Supports and implements all BIM, prefab, technologies, and planning standards; provides recommendations for changes to improve standards and procedures.
• Attends BIM coordination meetings and maintains communications with all parties; updates plans according to feedback.
• Builds strong relationships with customers, foremen, project team, contractors, vendors and users reflecting company values and meeting customer expectations.
• Participates in electrical construction-related training to maintain proficiency and updated technical skills.
• Provides mentoring, training and team-building to staff; coaches employees and gives feedback.
