Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Lead BIM Specialist to guide project BIM execution and provide training across teams. The role involves coordinating with project managers, reviewing models, and ensuring adherence to electrical construction standards.

You will mentor staff, handle 2D/3D drafting in Revit, and help develop BIM processes. Remote-friendly with optional Clinton, MD office work, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in BIM, engineering, or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 5–6 years of BIM modeling experience.
• Proficient with Revit, Autodesk suite, Bluebeam, and MS Office; Evolve a plus.
• Knowledge of NEC, safety codes, and reading electrical drawings.
• Understanding of project lifecycle and basic PM skills.
• Strong desire to learn electrical design and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination and ensure alignment with project plans and standards.
• Provide guidance and training on BIM execution plans to the project team.
• Draft 2D/3D drawings using Revit to support electrical construction.
• Apply BIM, prefab, and planning standards; suggest process improvements.
• Attend coordination meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Build relationships with customers, foremen, vendors, and teams.
• Participate in electrical construction training to maintain skills.
• Mentor staff and provide performance feedback as needed.
