Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to deliver constructible BIM models and detailed electrical documents for complex projects. The role combines hands‑on design, coordination with project teams, and leadership of junior staff.

The ideal candidate brings 7–8 years of BIM and electrical design experience, strong knowledge of NEC and building codes, and proficiency with Revit, AutoDesk tools, and design‑phase analysis. Office in Fenton, MO or fully remote options available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field; bachelor’s required for engineering track.
• Minimum BIM modeling experience with electrical design (7–8 years).
• Licenses: Journeyman/Master Electrician helpful; PE license or ability to take the exam within a year may be required.
• Proficiency with Revit, Autodesk, Navisworks, Bluebeam; knowledge of ETAP/SKM/EasyPower/Design Master for short-circuit calculations.
• Experience supporting field electricians and coordinating with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide constructability and BIM services for projects, designing complex electrical systems.
• Develop 3D models and detailed electrical construction documents to support field crews.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate team members across design and BIM efforts.
• Coordinate with vendors and review shop drawings for design accuracy.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and contribute to cost/schedule planning.
