Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Lead BIM Specialist to guide project teams on BIM execution and workflows, leveraging Revit and related tools. This role reports to project managers and provides direction to staff.

You will mentor teammates, run BIM coordination meetings, and ensure adherence to standards while supporting electrical construction tasks; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in BIM/engineering; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–6 years BIM modeling experience.
• Proficient in Revit, Autodesk, Bluebeam & MS Office; Evolve a plus.
• Knowledge of NEC and safety codes; read/interpreting drawings/specs.
• Understanding of project life cycle and basic PM concepts.
• Desire to learn electrical design and be a dependable team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination and planning, ensuring quality from inception to completion.
• Serve as production SME for Revit and electrical tasks.
• Draft 2D/3D drawings to support electrical construction with Revit.
• Recommend BIM standards improvements and implement changes.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and communicate with project team.
• Foster relationships with customers, foremen, contractors, vendors and user groups.
• Provide training and mentoring to staff; give performance feedback.
