Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team in Cherryville, NC or remote. You will ensure accurate billing processes and communicate with service providers and team members.

This role supports invoicing for Cox Fleet and requires meticulous handling of invoices and approvals. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, data-entry capability, and a keen eye for discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with data entry, faxing, emailing, and document copying is preferred.
• VMRS coding and billing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit reviews to ensure no discrepancies and customer approval limits.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices for correct billing.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned within Billing.
