Cox Automotive in the United States seeks a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team, supporting accurate invoicing and communication with service providers. The role is based in Cherryville, NC or remote.

You will code, audit, and process invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure billing workflows run efficiently. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-focused, and eager to grow in a fast-paced billing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with data entry and office equipment.
• VMRS coding and billing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit invoices for discrepancies and verify customer approval limits.
• Process and index invoices in the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices and audit accuracy.
• Respond to PO inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties within the Billing department.
