Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team, with the option to work remotely within the United States. The role focuses on accurate invoicing, communication with service providers, and processing provider invoices for the Cox Fleet.

This position emphasizes meticulous review, auditing, and timely billing operations. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong data-entry skills, and experience with VMRS coding and billing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with VMRS coding and billing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented billing environment.

Responsibilities

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies and inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit invoices for discrepancies and verify customer approval limits.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events in the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices and audit for correctness.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties within the Billing department as assigned.
