RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing services by ensuring accurate posting and timely reimbursement for therapy sessions. You will interact with insurance portals and ERAs, maintaining HIPAA confidentiality while coordinating with CBA and AR teams.

The role requires 1–2 years of payment posting experience, ABA familiarity, and proficiency with Azalea, Kareo, and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience preferred.
• ABA experience is required.
• Experience using insurance company websites/portals.
• Professional phone skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking and communication with internal teams and insurers.

Responsabilités

• Ensure HIPAA-compliant confidentiality for all client data.
• Reconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in all billing platforms (Rethink, Kareo, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Post payments from insurance portals.
• Enroll in ERAs when applicable to reduce manual posting and monitor enrollment progress.
• Communicate trends identified when posting to the AR team for clients.
• Identify underpayments/overpayments and coordinate resolution with teams.
• Measure and monitor key performance metrics for work quality.
• Interpret payor contracts when applicable.
