Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing teams and insurance companies, ensuring prompt reimbursement for therapy sessions. The role involves posting payments across multiple billing systems, reconciling EOBs/ERAs, and collaborating across AR teams to resolve discrepancies.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of payment posting experience, familiarity with HIPAA, and strong attention to detail, with experience in Azalea, Kareo, and clearinghouse workflows.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Experience using insurance portals/websites.
• Willingness to learn and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of client data.
• Reconcile payments posted from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Post payments from insurance portals and enroll in ERAs when applicable.
• Collaborate with CBA/AR teams to resolve discrepancies.
