RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist in California to support our billing teams with therapy session reimbursements. You will post payments, review EOBs/ERAs, and ensure accurate accounts receivable across multiple platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).

The role requires HIPAA confidentiality, strong attention to detail, and solid communication with insurers and internal teams. Remote opportunities exist in select states.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Experience using insurance company websites/portals.
• Professional phone skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication with internal teams and insurers.

Responsabilités

• Ensure HIPAA-compliant confidentiality for all client data.
• Reconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in all billing platforms (Rethink, Kareo, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Post payments from insurance portals.
• Enroll in ERAs to reduce manual posting and monitor enrollment progress.
• Communicate trends to the AR team for client updates.
• Identify underpayments/overpayments and coordinate resolutions.
• Monitor key performance metrics and productivity.
