Evercam is seeking a Billing Specialist to ensure accurate invoicing, timely payments, and resolution of billing discrepancies. You will collaborate with the finance, sales, and customer teams to maintain precise billing records and support overall financial operations.

The role emphasizes strong analytical and communication skills, experience in accounts receivable, and proficiency with common billing systems. This is a remote position, with US region focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar.
• Proficiency with accounting software and billing systems (Xero, Zoho Books, SAP or similar).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing practices.
• Proficient in Google Sheets for financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers based on contracts, service delivery, and billing schedules.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain cash flow.
• Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues with customers and internal teams.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing billing inquiries and disputes promptly.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service to ensure accurate billing and resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction.
• Identify and recommend improvements to billing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in implementing new billing systems or updates to existing systems.
