Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Transportation Claims Adjuster to work remotely in the United States. You will handle customer calls, educate policyholders, and guide claims to swift, fair resolutions. Collaboration with product and engineering helps refine processes and technology.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (English/Spanish), customer-oriented, empathetic, and proactive. The role requires 3+ years in transportation claims, license readiness, and willingness to travel for client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in transportation claims is preferred.
• Strong customer-service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, high-quality service to policyholders and claimants by handling calls, filing claims, and resolving requests.
• Gather information to initiate claims, explain policy coverages, and guide appropriate actions.
• Manage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves, and adjust as needed throughout the claim.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and assist with rental reimbursement.
• Identify recovery opportunities via subrogation and salvage, including total loss scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policy provisions, and SOPs.
• Negotiate settlements within authorized limits and communicate with all parties.
• Contribute to ongoing updates of claims guidelines and processes.
• Coordinate with outside investigators and client counsel to resolve claims.
• Pursue learning to deepen knowledge of personal lines claims and policy changes.
