Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Transportation Physical Damage Claims Adjuster to join our remote-first team. You'll speak with customers by phone, guide them through their claims, triage inventory, and help achieve fair, timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in transportation claims, an active adjuster license, and strong analytical and communication skills. We value empathy, problem-solving, and a commitment to service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; other qualifications considered.
• 3-5 years experience in transportation claims.
• Active adjuster license required (resident DHS acceptable).
• Willing to obtain all licenses within 60 days, including any state testing.
• Commercial experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and SOPs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Curious and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, high-quality customer service to policyholders by responding to inquiries and resolving claims.
• Gather information from customers to initiate claims and explain policy, coverage, and action.
• Manage an inventory of claims and establish initial reserves; adjust as needed.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and assist with rental reimbursement.
• Identify subrogation and salvage opportunities and total loss considerations.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and SOPs.
• Communicate with involved parties and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Contribute to claims guidelines and process improvements.
• Oversee outside investigators and work with client counsel to resolve claims.
• Engage in ongoing learning about personal lines, decisions, and policy changes.
