Job summary

Amerit Consulting is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a 100% remote, Texas-based position. The role requires bilingual English plus another language, and availability 9 AM–9 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

You will support government health and human services programs while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Ability to comply with current and updated policies and procedures.
• Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a diverse population; cultural competency.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform multiple complex tasks simultaneously; work well in a team or independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; must remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries received by telephone, IVR, or web portal regarding programs and services.
• Record customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve problems to ensure appropriate changes are made.
• Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding any potential needs or concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
