Job summary

Maximus is seeking Bilingual Customer Service Specialists to support the Health Texas project. The role involves handling inquiries via phone, IVR, and web portals with comprehensive training provided.

The position supports bilingual Spanish-English customers and offers hybrid and fully remote options, with residency in Texas and near Houston required for onsite start. Shifts run 8:00am–6:30pm CST, with 8-hour blocks; training begins onsite Day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–6 months of relevant professional experience.
• Shifts between 8:00am and 6:30pm CST (7:00am MST) available.
• Ability to type efficiently.
• Ability to handle 100+ calls per day and multitask.
• Must be onsite Day 1 for equipment training.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming inquiries via telephone, IVR, web chat, or other channels in line with performance standards.
• Provide accurate information about programs and services to consumers, enrollees, plans, and providers.
• Document all interactions in applicable systems.
• Navigate multiple systems and perform data entry accurately.
• Escalate unresolved issues to designated staff for resolution.
• Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking customers.
