Job summary

Voya Financial seeks a Benefit Support Consultant to oversee enterprise-level support and Benefit Service Center activities for designated clients, ensuring quality service and performance per program standards.

The role acts as the single-point client contact to coordinate resolutions and collaborates with Customer Success, sales, and internal groups to demonstrate value and identify opportunities for expanded support.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
• Experience in Call Center or Service Center or Software support preferred.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Project management and strong analytical ability.
• Working knowledge of benefits and services offered to clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepares agenda and attends client/team meetings.
• Supports client teams’ projects and deadlines.
• Ensures compliance with professional standards including templates and peer review.
• Assists with developing employee communications for open enrollment.
• Coordinates new plan implementation and open enrollment meetings.
• Intakes client calls or emails to resolve service or issues.
• Contacts carriers and vendors to resolve issues on behalf of the client.
• Conducts meetings, takes notes, monitors deliverables per scope of work.
• Identifies out-of-scope services requested by client.
• Resolves client issues and informs team of pertinent issues.
• Performs additional duties and continues process improvement initiatives.
