Engage PEO is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer health and welfare plans, including client-sponsored programs. You will handle enrollment, eligibility, and life events, while maintaining compliance with federal and state laws.

This full-time remote role collaborates with carriers and internal teams to deliver high-quality benefits support. Your background includes a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years in benefits administration, with knowledge of iSolved HCM or PrismHR a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years experience in benefits administration.
• Experience with insurance agencies or brokers.
• PEO experience preferred.
• iSolved HCM experience required; PrismHR a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Administer health and welfare benefit plans.
• Client-sponsored plans setup and ongoing carrier enrollment, reconciliation, and support.
• Process status change reports daily—enrollments, terminations, and life events.
• Respond to benefits inquiries on plan provisions, enrollments, and changes.
• Process medical support orders and update coverage for insurability decisions.
• Participate in open enrollment activities.
• Coordinate with carriers to resolve claims, eligibility, and service issues.
• Process requests for Life, Disability, and Paid Family Leave.
