Job summary

Engage PEO is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer health and welfare plans for our clients. This full-time, non-exempt role offers remote work in the United States and requires hands-on benefits administration experience.

You will manage enrollments, carrier communications, compliance with ACA/COBRA/HIPAA, and open enrollment activities while liaising with carriers, employers, and employees. Knowledge of iSolved HCM or PrismHR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years benefits administration experience.
• Experience with insurance agencies or brokers.
• PEO experience preferred; knowledge of ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel skills required.
• Familiarity with iSolved HCM and PrismHR.

Responsibilities

• Administer health and welfare benefit plans.
• Setup client-sponsored plans and carrier enrollment.
• Process enrollments, terminations, and life events.
• Respond to benefits inquiries and questions.
• Work with carriers to resolve claims and eligibility issues.
• Conduct benefit data audits and quality checks.
