Job summary

The role leads the 2027 transition from fully insured to self-funded medical plans, manages financial exposure, renewals, and budgeting, and ensures compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA. Remote work is allowed with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of progressive benefits administration experience including self-funded health plan exposure.
• Broad understanding of HR functions and employee lifecycle processes.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage programs, vendor relationships, and complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day administration and oversight of employee benefits programs across MSO and Provider populations.
• Lead the 2027 transition from fully insured to self-funded health plans with brokers and vendors.
• Monitor plan performance and financial exposure through claims, utilization, and funding analyses.
• Oversee compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and related regulations.
• Provide cross-functional HR support and back up HR operations as needed.
