Job summary

Proliance Surgeons seeks a Manager of Benefits and Leave of Absence to lead benefits programs, compliance, and operations. You will partner with HR leadership to align strategy with recruiting, retention, and total rewards while driving data-informed decisions.

The role oversees health and welfare benefits, retirement education, PTO, and LOA processes, including vendor management and audits, with remote capabilities during a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field required.
• 5–7 years progressive HR/Benefits experience.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
• Experience with HRIS Dayforce or Workday.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive benefit and leave strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee administration of health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and LOA programs.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and state laws.
• Manage vendor relationships including contracts, performance, and cost optimization.
• Lead education programs on retirement plans, 401(k) match, and profit sharing.
• Partner with HRIS, Payroll, and Finance to ensure data integrity and system improvements.
