Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a strategic Manager of Benefits and Leave of Absence to operationalize and optimize our health, welfare, retirement, PTO, and LOA programs. You will partner with HR leadership to align benefits with workforce goals and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

You will oversee vendors, drive education on retirement programs, and lead data-driven improvements while coaching HR team members and collaborating with payroll, finance, and IT to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; commensurate experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 5–7 years progressive HR and benefits experience.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (Dayforce, Workday) required.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive benefits and leave strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee administration of health, welfare, retirement, PTO, and LOA programs.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
• Drive employee wellness initiatives and education on retirement programs (401k match, profit sharing).
• Audit and reconcile benefit programs with finance (HSA/FSA, 401k audits).
• Lead change management and system enhancements with HRIS and AI adoption.
