Cortex is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive outbound pipeline generation and create qualified opportunities. You will collaborate with Sales and Marketing to deliver new business opportunities and meet monthly quotas.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in sales, strong communication, and experience with Salesforce and Outreach. The role offers remote work from anywhere in the US and equity benefits as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

1-3 years of professional experience in a sales related environment.
Strong performance track record.
Experience with Salesforce.com
Experience with Outreach.io
Solid fundamental skills in cold calling, prospecting, researching, copywriting and opportunity qualification
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Hit and exceed monthly quota.
Deliver qualified meetings and generate sales qualified opportunities with an emphasis on quality.
Accurately forecast weekly, monthly performance results.
Collaborate with teammates on the BDR team to continually improve systems, tools and processes.
Collaborate with AE’s to multi-thread and generate new outbound business opportunities.
