Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Customer Care Representative to deliver a seamless banking experience for customers and colleagues. This remote role requires residence in South Carolina or Florida and involves handling digital banking issues, debit card support, and routine account inquiries with a focus on trust and efficiency.

You will work 11am–8pm EST with rotating Saturday shifts, using multiple systems to verify information and ensure security.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous inbound call center customer service experience in financial services.
• Strong verbal, listening and problem-solving skills with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve customer inquiries with first-call resolution.
• Answer inbound phone inquiries timely and professionally.
• Assist with account inquiries: balance, history, transfers, loans, and check orders.
• Provide digital banking support including MFA unlock and online banking assistance.
• Support debit card inquiries, blocking, reissues, and Reg-E disputes.
• Promote virtual branch solutions and meet quality/productivity goals.
• Maintain customer information security and perform authentication.
• Navigate multiple systems to review customer information.
