The ideal candidate holds a CPA/CA designation with 10+ years in accounting and 5+ years of people management, and thrives in a remote-first US-wide environment with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Accounting designation such as CPA or CA
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Accounting, Finance or Treasury‑related areas
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience
• Experience building out the appropriate tools and processes, and scaling an Accounting team in a similar industry
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP, Regulatory reporting
• Proven analysis, cash management, and modeling experience
• Extremely detail oriented and a natural critical thinker
• Strategic, goal driven, focused, with a “can‑do” attitude

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank accounting team, setting direction, recruiting, and coaching.
• Partner with other functions as primary liaison.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Build regulatory reporting capability (FFIEC 041 Call Reports, Part 363 Annual Reports, and Federal Reserve reporting).
• Coordinate annual bank audit with external auditors.
• Drive automation with engineering/product teams to improve accounting/reporting processes.
• Manage other financial analysis and projects as required.
