Affirm is seeking a self‑motivated Bank Controller to lead the bank accounting function during a growth phase. You will oversee daily operations, drive accurate monthly reporting, and partner with regulators and auditors to ensure compliance.

The role emphasizes building scalable tools, improving processes, and providing strategic analysis across the finance team in a remote-first US environment.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA designation required.
• Experience leading a bank accounting team and regulatory reporting.
• Strong GAAP and regulatory reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the bank accounting function including staffing and coaching.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and run regulatory reporting processes (FFIEC 041, Part 363, Fed).
• Coordinate annual bank financial statement audit with external auditors.
• Drive process automation with engineering/product teams.
