Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping web apps using React or Vue.
• Practical use of LLMs or AI frameworks to enhance automation with guardrails and citations.
• Ability to define a technical plan for delivering significant features with elegant design.
• Proven ability to make meaningful changes safely in large code bases with reusable tooling.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team and lead engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product, design and analytics to articulate constraints and trade-offs in the product lifecycle.
• Identify and advocate for project, process, technology or business issues and drive solutions.
• Support operations and availability by monitoring metrics and participating in on-call efforts.
• Set or improve code review and design standards and promote them beyond your team.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance and leading by example.
