Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the DC/Baltimore market as a true hunter, with a territory that’s yours to build. You’ll prospect, cold-call, and close new logos, with a base salary in the mid-80s plus uncapped commissions, and a company vehicle.

Remote (Bowie, MD) with travel across the DC area, you’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, aim for $1M in annual sales, and partner with operations on bids and proposals to win strategically.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related experience, with 3+ years in B2B sales.
• Experience with cold outreach and closing new logos.
• Self-generated pipeline and ability to own a territory.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle in the DC/Baltimore market from prospecting to close.
• Build relationships with commercial property managers, HOAs, and facility decision makers.
• Prepare estimates and bid proposals with operations; respond to RFPs.
• Deliver pitches and negotiations; carry and hit a $1M annual sales target.
• Maintain client relationships for repeat business and referrals.
